9 Time Limit, Gateways and Stoppage in Tournament
- Marathon 6 hours (41.8km point)
- Fun-Run 1 hour ( 5.2km point)
- Time limit will be measured based on the signal gun for both Marathon and Fun-Run. It might take about 15 minutes for the last runner to pass the start line after the signal.
- Due to the management of traffic, security and tournament, we will install gateways on the courses listed below and set the closing time at each gateway. Once after a gateway is closed, runners cannot continue the race. Runners who have not reached a gateway by the closing time set there must discontinue the race immediately, leave the course, and either get aboard the ‘accommodation bus’ which follows runners or go to the next gateway on foot and get aboard the ‘gateway bus’ at the gateway, following the instructions of tournament officials and staff. Also, even though it is not the closing time yet, if runners are significantly late and assumed not to be able to reach the gateway by the closing time, or even after passing the 11th gateway for Marathon / 2nd gateway for Fun-Run, if the organizer decides that runners are significantly late to the finishing time and that the event will be disrupted, the runners will be directed to discontinue the race.
- The location, number and the closing time of gateways are subject to change.
