Application can be made online (LAWSON DO SPORTS) or at convenience stores (Lawson or Ministop).

If you apply online, there is no charge at the time of application. If you apply through in-store Loppi , you will be required to pay 500 yen (tax included) for application fee at the time of application regardless of whether you win or not.

Notes	To apply for Priority Quota for Okayama citizens and prefectural residents, those whose address is in Okayama prefecture at the time of application are eligible, and a preliminary lottery will be held after the application deadline. Those who lost the lottery will be automatically treated as general applicants, so there is no need to apply for the same application as the general applicant. In the case of pair entries, only if both participants residing in Okayama prefecture, they are edible for the Priority Quota for Okayama citizens and prefectural residents. After the application deadline for Okayama citizens and prefectural citizens, only general application will be accepted including those residing in Okayama Prefecture. If you apply for the registration section, we will confirm if you have been registered as an athlete of JAAF, Japan Association of Athletics Federations, in 2024. Please be sure to register as an athlete before applying and input the name of the registered prefectural athletic association, the name of the affiliated organization, and the personal JAAF ID correctly. If you are applying for JAAF 2024, please enter 11 digits of “9” in your “personal JAAF ID” and call 0570-010-610 to contact Okayama Marathon Call Center by May 20(Mon.) after obtaining your ID. If we do not hear from you by the deadline, you will be treated as a general applicant. Please note that the name of the affiliated organization will be abbreviated in the competition program. We will set up the overseas quota for those living outside of Japan. The capacity is 300 people (250 people for general quota of marathon and 50 people for general quota of Fun Run) on a first-come, first-served basis. The application period is from Thursday, April 18, 2024 to Monday, May 20, 2024, on a first-come, first-served basis. Pair entry is a method of applying for the same event as a unit of two persons. In the case of the lottery, pairs will either win or lose all at once. The participation fee is for two persons. It is not possible to apply for pair entry as the registered athletes of JAAF. Handling of participation fee

If the event is canceled after payment of the participation fee due to earthquakes, wind and flood damage, or the spread of infectious diseases, we will settle the expenses incurred up to the time of cancellation and refund the remaining amount.
Please note that application fee will not be refunded. In addition, the refund percentage of participation fee is as follows, but it may change depending on the progress of preparation for the event.

Application terms and conditions

Please be sure to agree to the application terms and conditions below before applying if you wish to participate.

1. If the competition is cancelled due to the reasons not attributable to the organizer such as earthquakes, wind and flood damage, or the spread of infectious diseases, the expenses incurred up to the time of cancellation will be calculated and the remaining balance is refund.
   Please note that application fee will not be refunded.
2. If you have a fever or feel unwell, please refrain from participating. If you do not meet the qualifications for participation set by the organizer or do not cooperate with prevention measures for infectious disease, your participation in the competition may be refused. In that case, participation and application fees will not be refunded.
   ※If the qualifications for participation, etc. are added, they will be notified on the official website of the completion, etc..
3. The changes of events and the written information, cancellation, and the refund of the participation and application fee due to the personal reasons are not accepted.
4. The application fee in convenience stores will not be refunded even if you lost the lottery.
5. False declaration of age, gender, records, etc., transfer of eligibility for entry, and participation by anyone other than the applicant (surrogate run) are not permitted. If any of these things are identified, the eligibility for participation will be canceled, and the participants will be disqualified, and their awards (records) will be canceled. The organizer will not provide any compensation and refund participation and application fees. Additionally, with regard to substitute runners, neither the applicant nor the substitute runner will be able to participate in the event in the future.
6. Duplicate application by the same person (including the cases that application categories are different such as an individual and a pair, multiple pairs, and Priority Quota for Okayama citizens and prefectural residents and General Quota) is not allowed. Please be sure to apply for one category per person. If duplicate application by the same person is identified, the eligibility for participation will be canceled, and the participants will be disqualified, and their awards (records) will be canceled. The organizer will not provide any compensation and refund participation and application fees.
7. In the case of pair entry, be sure to obtain the approval of the pair partner before applying.
8. We will not check for non-delivery notification due to errors in the registered e-mail address, etc.. In addition, if you are unable to receive emails from the organizer due to malfunction of the device used, email receipt setting, security software setting, non-delivery due to the bulk email sending, or changes of the registered email address, etc., the organizer will not be responsible for any disadvantages that may arise.
9. In the event of the accident during the competition, first aid is only provided. Be sure to bring your health insurance card with you on that day. Please note that compensation for accidents and injuries during the event will be provided within the scope of the insurance taken out by the organizer unless there is intentional or gross negligence on the part of the organizer.
10. If the organizer determines to discontinue the competition during the event, please follow the organizer’s instruction for cancellation of the competition immediately. In addition, please follow the organizer’s instructions regarding safety management, competition operations, and infection prevention measures. If you do not follow the instructions, your participation may be refused. In that case, participation and application fees will not be refunded.
11. The publication rights and the portrait rights to TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, and Internet, etc. of videos, photos, articles, applicants’ names, ages, and addresses (country, prefecture, or city, ward, town, and village) ,etc. belong to the organizer. In addition, personal information may be provided to third parties for the purposes described in the competition guidelines, “Privacy Policy”.
12. In addition to the above application terms and conditions, we will comply with all relevant domestic laws and will hold the event in accordance with the competition guidelines set by the organizer.
